The Levels Of Consciousness
We have talked about the idea of different levels of consciousness that are relevant for your experience in physical reality, beginning with the idea of the oversoul, which has extensions that would create individuated souls or spirits, if you wish. Which then, in order to experience physical reality, creates a specific extension of itself—a specific aspect of itself, a specific presentation of itself called the higher mind.
That will become half, in a sense, of the person that will experience the idea of physical reality. The higher mind, in thus then choosing particular themes to experience, particular challenges to transform in that physical reality, in creating that so-called destiny for the physical mind to follow—that hallway, that pathway that the physical mind will take—even though the physical mind will have its own free will as to how to walk that path.
The higher mind’s choosing—in a sense, the soul’s choosing through the higher mind of the particular experience it wishes to have—creates the kind of path or destiny that the physical mind will experience.
In order for the physical mind to experience that path, that theme of exploration, the higher mind will then, by using what is called the template level reality—the blueprint level that is used to create the outlines of the physical reality experience, if you wish, the draft of the experience—it uses that template level to create the playing field that the physical mind will play in.
And from there, it creates and steps part of itself down into the vibration of the collective mind, which contains the collective agreements of the physical reality that is being experienced by the physical mind. And then the individual agreement level that determines the agreement that the individual has with the collective in playing out its scenario.
And thus then, down into the components of the physical mind itself: the belief systems, the emotions, the thoughts that together create the behaviors that are representative of the physical persona, the physical personality that becomes the other half of the whole person—being constructed of the physical mind and the higher mind, with all these intervening layers creating the playing field and the individual and collective agreements that the physical mind will use to explore the theme that the higher mind has chosen.
THE CHESS ANALOGY
Now knowing that that is the basic structure—from oversoul to individual soul to higher mind to template level reality to collective agreement to individual agreement and down into the physical personality levels—you will find that there is an analogy that can be made by using the game of chess, or perhaps many different kinds of games. But for the purposes of this communication, chess may be the most apt analogy, and we will use that.
You can in a sense look at this analogy of chess that:
The oversoul is the level of your consciousness that plays many different games at once—not only a multitude of chess games, but a multitude of other kinds of games as well. Each game name being representative of a life experience, an incarnation, a projection of the oversoul into some sort of reality where it is playing out some sort of theme and exploratory path.
So the oversoul plays a multitude of games all at once.
Each of those individuated games is thus then the purview, the domain of an individual aspect of the oversoul—the individualized soul that is focused on one idea, one particular style of game. In this case, by our analogy, a game of chess.
The higher mind thus then is created to be, in a sense, the game player—to strategize, to understand the playing field, to have the broad view, as it were, of the game.
And thus then, in continuing this analogy, the higher mind uses the template level reality, the blueprint level, to create the game board—what you are familiar with, in a sense, again by analogy, as the chess board, with its 64 squares of alternating color.
Thus, once laying out the board, it thus then allows itself to project into the level of the collective agreement, the level of the collective agreement consciousness. Thus then defines the rules in general of the game—of the overall game.
So once the template level has been used to create the playing board, the collective is used to create the idea of what rules are germane for the playing of this game. What reality game are we playing here? What is appropriate and relevant for this particular game we are going to experience, and what is not relevant for that particular game? That is decided upon in the collective agreement consciousness.
Such examples, such simplistic examples of the collective agreement rules for this game in your physical reality, are such things as: generally speaking, most of you will experience the concept you call gravity. You will experience the concept you call space and time as a physical being. You will experience the concept of needing and requiring the idea of sleep, the idea of food, the idea of water, and so on and so forth in order to perpetuate your ability to continue to play the game.
Now sometimes those rules can be bent a little bit, but generally speaking, the overall collective agreement rules will be abided by by most people playing this game because it allows you the opportunity to simply put something on automatic—to put the rules on automatic so you don’t have to think about them constantly and constantly consciously create them in order to play the game. This gives you the opportunity to actually simply focus on playing the game instead of constantly wondering exactly what the parameters are, what the rules are.
So once you learn the rules, once you instill the rules within you in an automatic, second-nature way, then you can simply be on about learning to play the game better and better, more precisely, more clearly.
THE INDIVIDUAL AGREEMENTS
Bashar: Now once the collective rules of the game have been created in the collective mind level of consciousness, it is time to define the idea of exactly what piece you are going to be. And thus then, in the individual agreements—the individual agreement level—you will create the rules for that piece. How does that piece move? What is its position on the board? How does it relate to the other pieces?
This thus then is created for the individual on that level of the why and wherefore, the concept of what you are as a playing piece: what skills, talents, abilities that you have to give to the game; your ability to view your relationship to other playing pieces is created in this individual agreement level as it relates to the collective agreement, so that you will understand exactly how you fit in the game, where you belong in the game, how it is you will move in the game, so that you can take full advantage by learning your style of movement, take full advantage of the strategy of the piece that you are being, and make sure that your movements are impactful and effective in creating the experience of the game that has been, in that sense, laid out for you by the higher mind and the board and the collective rules.
Again, not that the piece doesn’t have individual will. But it’s going to use its individual will to best express, best exemplify the capabilities it has been designed to have as the individual playing piece. And so it will know its own rules—who it is, what it is, its own identity.
And that’s why it’s very important to get in touch with the idea of, in a very clear way, who and what each individual is—to know their identity, to know what they are all about, to know what path they are on. Thus then, clearly knowing that will allow each individual piece to interact with every other individual piece in a way that allows the game to be played in the most fun way, in the most challenging way, in the most strategic way, in the most impactful way, in the most expanding way, in the most satisfying way.
Because it is about the relationship of all the pieces to each other that allow the game to be what it is, and allows for different opportunities for each piece to play different strategies in every single game that it plays within the game—every single opportunity that it acts on, every single path of excitement that it follows, every single door that it walks through.
THE PHYSICAL PERSONALITY
Bashar: Thus then, again, once this has been determined—what the game board is, what the general rules are, what the individual rules are for the piece—now the physical personality is created, which is analogous to the actual piece itself.
Thus you find that the qualities of the physical playing piece—the physical qualities, the shape and so on and so forth, the material it is made out of, the size and so on—correspond in the idea to the physical personality and the physical body. And thus those qualities are also, to some degree, part and parcel of the game. And thus by knowing the shape, the shape can be handled properly, it can be moved properly, in the proper way, smoothly throughout the game. It can be moved with finesse.
And in the idea of the beliefs and the emotions, the thought patterns that together form the physical personality, the behavior of that piece—thus then is the complete chess game revealed.
And then once all those components are in place, you can play the game in the most efficient way possible once you have really learned the rules, taken them to heart, once you know who you are, taken that to heart, once you understand the piece that you have become, that you have extended yourself as into the physical reality game, once you understand the layout of the board and your relationship to the other pieces—then you can play the game in a very efficient, very fun way, very expanding way, and you can learn from every move you make and from every response you get how to play the game better and better and better, more efficiently, more smoothly, more broadly.
MULTI-DIMENSIONAL CHESS
Bashar: Now there are, of course, many different kinds of chess, in a sense, in many different parallel realities. Even in your own parallel reality, not only do you have the idea of two-dimensional chess on a flat board, but many people on your planet actually play three-dimensional chess on a multitude of levels.
There are even parallel realities—and yours will be one of them eventually—that has learned to play the idea of fourth-dimensional chess, where time is actually a factor in the game as well. In terms of exactly not only where a piece winds up, but exactly when it winds up in that position being also important to the playing of the game.
So you are learning more and more levels on which to play this game of chess, more and more levels in which to play the game of life—to play your life out, incorporating a broader understanding and a higher capability of seeing different moves before you make them.
In a sense, when you talk about the idea of chess masters looking ahead five moves ahead, seven moves ahead, ten moves ahead—an understanding for both players what those moves could all be, what the probabilities are, all the possible combinations of what moves could be made ahead of moves that have been made—this is really nothing more than extending your senses into all the different parallel reality versions of that game, being capable of seeing them overlap in such a manner as to guide yourself through the parallel reality game stream that represents the one in which your player, so to speak, wins the game.
This takes practice, of course. Takes the ability to open up to the idea of being able to perceive parallel realities in a variety of ways. And again, this is analogous to some of what you are doing in your physical reality now.
KEEPING IT SIMPLE
Bashar: By becoming first of all aware that there are, of course, such things as parallel reality, parallel games going on—that perhaps other versions of you are playing—and thus knowing that since everything exists in the now, you have the ability to cross-connect to many of these other incarnations and become aware of the interconnected energy and information that can be downloaded from these other games going on in ways that, by observing the moves in some of these parallel reality chess games and games of life, you can apply some of these moves to your own game and thus shift yourself to one of those parallel realities—become the player, become the focus of the player in that parallel reality that is more and more indicative, more and more representative, if you will, of the game that you prefer to play.
Now many people on your planet become enamored, become fixated and focused on the idea of knowing about all these other parallel incarnations, parallel realities, and the idea is it’s all well and good to know about them, but to a certain point. Because once you allow yourself to understand how to download that information in the most efficient and relevant way, you will realize that you really only need a little bit of information here and a little bit of information there—just exactly when you need it to help you with the next move that you’re going to make on the game board.
You don’t really need all the information at once. You don’t really necessarily need to connect to every single parallel version of the game at once, or even ever. The idea would be that if you are playing one game of chess and you have developed some capability to look several moves ahead—in other words, to examine a number of parallel reality versions of the game all at once—and you have decided on what course to shift to that is representative of the game you prefer to play, that’s all well and good.
But if you take it a little bit too far for its own sake—just for the sake of being aware of other versions of the game that may not necessarily be relevant to the game that you really truly need to play, that you really truly prefer to play—then you will simply clutter up the game board to such an extent that you won’t have any capability of making any moves at all.
So the idea is to keep it simple, keep it streamlined, keep it efficient, and only allow yourself to know that what is necessary is all you really need to know at any given moment.
Even as you extend your senses into a variety of parallel games, allow the synchronicity in your life, allow the way in which the game unfolds naturally, to show you, to demonstrate to you exactly how many moves ahead you really need to see, how many different versions of the game you really need to be aware of at any given moment. Let it fall into place automatically, naturally, in such a manner as to be representative and reflective of the game that is truly your game.
Because when you are truly playing your game, then you will find that the outcome of that game will always be satisfactory for you, regardless of who else you may be playing with. Because as these things go, even though different people may be playing on the same game board, each playing their own game, you’re not really playing against each other. You are playing your own game, and in some senses with each other, but each of you actually has the capacity to win your own game at the same time.
So let the synchronicity simply show you the moves that need to be made that are truly representative of your game. Don’t worry about what someone else’s game is all about because those moves are only relevant for their game and not yours. And let the game unfold in the most natural way possible.
AVOIDING INFORMATION OVERLOAD
Many people may get fixated on the idea of looking at other games and other incarnations and want to know all about all of them all at once. But again, it would be like playing a game of chess and somebody comes along and says: “Well, here’s another set of pieces, let me put them on the board too. And here’s another set of pieces, let me put them on the board too.” Pretty soon you’ll not be able to make a move because all the squares will be filled with pieces and there’ll be nowhere to go.
And even more so, recognize that your oversoul and all these different incarnational games being played are not only just games of chess—some of them are games of checkers, cards, and other types of games. And so to ask for more information than you need would again be like someone not only coming along and placing three sets of chess pieces on the board, but also dumping a lot of checkers on the board, dumping a bunch of cards on the board, and saying: “Now go ahead and play.” You wouldn’t know where to begin. It would just be a mess—a pile on top of the board. In fact, you wouldn’t even be able to see the board anymore.
So keep it simple. Keep it streamlined. Play just the number of moves ahead that are really germane for you. Allow yourself to extend your senses by all means into the parallel realities that will allow you to download whatever information will give you the opportunity to decide which game, which parallel stream of games, you really wish to shift to. But don’t extend yourself too far. Stay in the present with the game, and allow whatever information comes to you to be what you need at that moment.
And play it well. Play well with the information you have. Play well as the piece you already are. Learn that piece, and you will have mastered the entire game. Because as many of you who play chess know, it doesn’t really matter what piece you may be playing—be it the king and the queen, or the rook and the bishop, or the knight, or all the pawns. You know that even a pawn can win the whole game with the right strategic move.
So it doesn’t matter what piece you are playing. If you play it well and master that piece and look at the whole picture of the game and see how that piece fits in whatever game is representative of your relevant path, you will know that any piece that you happen to be is capable of winning the game. And you don’t necessarily have to strive to be anything more than you are.
THE HOLOGRAPHIC NATURE OF THE PIECES
Bashar: Conversely, in the idea that a pawn can actually win a game, you can understand holographically that each piece actually has the capability to some extent to enclose and contain and represent the abilities of all the other pieces—at least where it counts, in terms of the idea of whatever the final configuration is of that particular game you are playing within the overall game.
So never discount the piece. Never think less of a pawn. A pawn can also function like a king in the right circumstances of the game.
Allow yourself to see the whole picture using this idea, this chess analogy, for all these different levels of consciousness in creating the player in the higher mind, the game board in the template level reality, the collective rules of the game in the collective consciousness agreements, the individual rules of the piece in the individual agreements relevant to the collective consciousness, and in understanding the physical piece itself that you have chosen to be and mastering the play of that piece.
Then you can play game after game after game with each and every new opportunity that comes up. You can look at it as a whole game—the game of your entire life—and you can look at it as games within the game in different scenarios, different moments, mini-games within the overall game. And you can divide that up however you wish to, to whatever extent you wish, in any different scenario, in every different circumstance. You can create a mini-game of chess for yourself and play it out by mastering the piece that you are in that game.
And in essence, you can actually change the pieces that you are from game to game. Even though you might have an overall piece for your entire life, you have that degree of flexibility in your free will, in your creative being. You can actually be many different pieces in the mini-games within the overall game, even though you might be one kind or two kinds of pieces for the entire game of your life.
So be flexible in your imagination with this, and use this analogy to your benefit in that way.
USING CHESS AS A MEDITATION
One of the reasons we are now utilizing this particular analogy of all these different levels of consciousness is to give you an analogy you are somewhat familiar with to anchor these different levels of consciousness—the oversoul, the individual soul/spirit, the higher mind, the template level reality, the collective consciousness, the individual agreements, and the physical persona—to anchor this chess game analogy to those concepts so that you can create a little bit more of a visual representation, a little bit more of a grounded, as you say, “down-to-earth” representation.
And what would really be a good exercise to go along with this would be to actually lay out a chess board, to lay out the pieces, and even to play a game with someone. And in playing that game, really understand, really begin to feel all the different layers behind you, above you, that are creating this whole scenario—all the way up to the oversoul that is playing many games at once, to the individual soul that has chosen to play chess in this way, to the higher mind that has chosen to be the chess player, the strategist, to the actual template reality game board you see before you that is being created as your blueprint to play this game out as you play on the field of life, the board of life.
To the idea of the general rules that you understand for playing the whole game, to the idea of the specific rules you understand for playing your particular piece one at a time as you play the game, and each of the rules that go with them. And to the physicalness of each piece—the size, the shape, the weight, the color, the material, how it feels in your hand when you move it, how it relates to the other pieces—not only your own but also the other players.
And to use this analogy when you are playing the game as an exercise, as a meditation in a sense, to lock you in, to anchor you into these different levels of your consciousness. So that by doing so physically—by playing the actual physical game of chess—you will actually strengthen the bond between all these different levels. You will start to equalize the frequencies, in a sense, or allow the frequency thresholds at each level to match more cleanly, more closely, to align more closely so there’s greater communication up and down the line from the oversoul all the way down through to the physical personality, and from the physical personality all the way back up to the oversoul.
So that thus then, as you play this physical game of chess, literally you are also strengthening your ability to be your position in the game of life and strengthening your ability to use your talents and express yourself strategically, efficiently, in a relevant way in relation to all other pieces in a way that works best for you and works best for all the other pieces as well in playing out certain games.
DEVELOPING FORESIGHT
Bashar: Use this analogy in this way, and you will begin to really see that you are capable of expanding your senses in a variety of ways. It may begin as you play the game of chess with an ability to start seeing more moves ahead, as you develop more of a skill at looking at a multitude of parallel reality probabilities all at once.
But as you develop that, as you begin to master that ability, you will see that that will start to leak—because you know of the connections through the idea of the levels of consciousness—it will start to leak and rub off on those different levels back up the line in such a way as to allow you the opportunity to experience the same kind of foresight, the same kind of expanded view that the higher mind has in playing this game in your life, in all your endeavors.
Looking moves ahead, seeing all the juxtapositions and all the different relationships and what the different ideas and outcomes and results can be from all those different probabilities, so that it can act as a guide for you and allow you to know specifically, more easily, what represents your preferred vibration, what does not. So that you can truly begin to play the game of life in a very masterful, easy, effortless, joyful, creative, expansive way.
Even as you ponder each move and allow yourself to remain in the present totally with that move, so that you are truly relishing all the different ideas of what that one move can do, of what that one piece is capable of. And as you do that, you will cherish yourself, you will appreciate yourself, you will understand what you truly are at your core. And you can let drop away all the things that are not relevant to the true game you are playing.
So that you can recognize the difference between the game that you have truly chosen to play and all the other games that may be crowding in that don’t really belong on this board at this time—be they chess, be they checkers, be they cards, be they anything else.
SIMPLIFYING YOUR LIFE
Bashar: Allow yourself to begin to recognize by using this analogy and by playing that game what is germane and relevant just for that game, and what does not need to be on the board. You will simplify not only the game—you will simplify and speed up and accelerate your ability to go through the game that much more efficiently, that much more quickly, and get on to the next game and the next and the next and the next within the overall game of your life.
And this again will leak into your true life and allow you to operate more efficiently, more cleanly, in an accelerated way—knowing exactly what to do, when to do it, understanding the moves, understanding the consequences of those moves, understanding how everything is interconnected in that way as one game.
You’ll start to see, in a sense with x-ray vision, the idea of the multitude of probable realities that are open and available to you to become different versions of yourself as you shift from parallel world to parallel world, from game to game to game. And the whole game will start to change even as the mini-games change within it. And you can shift more radically, more drastically, more smoothly, more efficiently, more completely.
So we offer you this opportunity of using this analogy to allow it to be something that will help you align in a variety of ways, to focus you and yet expand you—seeing the big picture, all the probabilities, at the same time that you are understanding each individual move to work in that holographic, coherent, and cohesive way in your life. Let it leak in.
OTHER GAME ANALOGIES
Bashar: Now if you decide that you wish another analogy, by all means allow your imagination to be your guide. You can start with the idea of checkers, you can start with the idea of cards, you can start with the idea of dominoes, you can start with the idea of Chinese checkers, you can start with the idea of Go, you can start with the idea of Mahjong, or any of your games. It doesn’t really much matter.
We have chosen the analogy of chess because of its precision and because of the ability of the different pieces to be strongly representative of many of the different traits that actually exist within some of the choices that you make—the different levels, the different classifications of ideas of playing pieces and what they are capable of doing and how they are capable of moving and how they are viewed in relation to the other pieces.
Chess in many ways has many different kinds of complex interactive probabilities, and we have chosen it for that reason because in many ways it is highly representative of the same degree of relevant complexities, shall we say, and richness of texture that exist in the choices that you give yourself in physical reality. And so it is a very workable analogy for that purpose and has direct correlation and connection to many of the different levels that we have talked about in the idea of your consciousness that is relevant for how you create and experience your physical reality.
But use what you wish. It’s up to you.
While at the same time, if you can learn to master chess using this analogy, it will be a little bit more of a refined and a little bit more of a precise way of connecting to some of those levels than checkers might be, or cards might be. It’s up to you though, because you can use your imagination to find the richness and complexity that is required to make the analogous connections to the different levels of consciousness as it relates to the game that you have chosen.
THE POWER OF THE PAWN
Bashar: It is up to you. But the higher mind is the game player, the physical mind is the playing piece. But that doesn’t mean in the negative context that you are the higher mind’s pawn—except in the idea we have already shared with you that a pawn can also contain the power of a king. And it is up to you to allow yourself to know that that power is there, and to choose the succession of parallel reality games, whatever piece you choose to be, that allows you to find that ability to be at exactly the right position, the right place, the right time, to be played in the correct way to demonstrate that any piece on the board can win the game.
Find that power. Be that piece. Master that game. And play. Play freely. Expand your ability to play, to see more than one game at once, and to choose which you prefer.
As we thus then proceed later in our live interactions with you, keep this analogy in mind. Whatever dialogues, whatever questions and answers we discuss, keep this analogy in mind. Allow yourself to apply this concept to the questions you may have or the things you may wish to share, so as to bring clarity and to bring connection to those different levels of consciousness in these dialogues, to help propel you forward and expand your senses and give you more of an ability, more of a skill to become a chessmaster and understand all the rules of the game very clearly within yourself, so that you will know what game you are playing and what game you truly prefer to play.
And you will learn the difference.
THE OPPOSITE SIDE OF THE BOARD
Bashar: We will extend to you at this time our deepest appreciation for allowing us to share this concept with you. More of this concept will come out in the dialogues we will have in the live interaction. But for now, we wish to aid and assist you by letting this concept sink in.
By imagining now, if you will, for a moment, this chess board with its 64 alternating squares. And imagine if you will the playing pieces on that board. And understand that these playing pieces are made out of your energy. They are you.
And allow yourself to examine from both sides all the playing pieces facing each other—the white and the black, whatever the opposite color may be. Start looking at both sides of the game. Because only by understanding the other side as well will you be able to play your best game.
You cannot really win by playing against the other side. But you will win when you learn how to play in alignment with the moves that the other side is making in such a way—like what you call a martial art—that you match that energy, match that movement, match that frequency so precisely, so perfectly, so masterfully that it requires hardly any effort at all to position your piece in the winning position.
It’s really learning about who the other player is and what all the other pieces are attempting to do that allows you to play your best game.
Even though in some senses on Earth, as you do these things, it may seem to be adversarial—you may think of the other player as an opponent—but they are not. They’re another aspect of you. And the pieces that are facing you, coming toward you, coming your way across the board from the other side, in many ways are your pieces too.
Polarity is also expressed in this game. And it is a very wise and very efficient way to play the game of chess to fully understand exactly all the probabilities of the other pieces coming toward you as well. For only understanding the polarity, only fully understanding the potential of all the pieces on the other side—their perspective, their point of view that they also bring to the game—that both of you, in a sense, can win.
And this is another type of chess all together—a dimensional type of chess where every player actually wins simultaneously. There is a way to actually play the game that way with that outcome, and we will get into that another time. But keep that in mind, for it’s a total game, and all the pieces are reflections, and you are simply playing yourself.
We thank you for allowing us to share this idea with you, and we will continue this analogy to whatever degree is appropriate and relevant in our exchanges upcoming in this transmission this day of your time.
You may thus then enjoy a short break, and we will connect with you in what you call live fashion in moments.
BREAK
Darryl: Whoever that last guy was sure talked a lot, didn’t he? He’s a chatty guy. I always marvel at the way that he just brings the information through. There’s never an “um” or a pause to try to figure out what to say next. Do you think he really puts a CD in your head? I think he’s reading off a prompter in his ship or something. He cheats. There we go.
So he’s kind of like a newscaster. Yeah, right. Oh, I get it. That’s pretty cool. Yeah, he’s an anchorman. Sorry, you set that up. I had to go there. You’re becoming more and more like him every day. I know. It’s sad.
So I hope you all enjoyed the first part of Bashar’s information. And so Darryl has picked some names and I’ll call them out to you.
(Break continues with audience interaction)
LIVE Q&A SESSION
Bashar: Oh, little… say good day to you this day of your time. How are you all?
All right. In my ancient language—are two in Anika? Good day, ancestors.
We will begin this portion of the interaction with a little bit of a follow-up to what has already been said briefly with the idea of the different games as analogies for the different levels of consciousness in your reality.
Now many of you may not play the game of chess, and as we said, that’s fine. But the idea is that whatever game you choose to play, whatever you are most attracted to, understand that the symbolic analogy of the particular game you are attracted to in many ways is going to be representative of how you view life, your relationship to life, your relationship to others.
So while you take whatever time you wish to take to think about that and let that sink in, so that you can use the game you’re most attracted to as an analogy for your life, and allow that analogy, allow that game and the rules of that game, to help clarify many of the things going on about your particular approach to life. Looking at it that way may provide some illumination for you about certain things, certain ways you go about things in life that can aid and assist you in playing that game of life.
At the same time, we do encourage you to also stretch a little bit by at least making an attempt to play a different kind of game now and then, and see what other new portions of yourself you may have been aware of or unaware of may come up for you from a different perspective. By playing a different game, seeing even the things you are familiar with from a slightly different point of view, and discovering things you are unaware of by playing the new game with different pieces than you may be familiar with.
Using this analogy and actually playing these games physically, as we have already suggested, may allow you to really connect much more strongly, to really bond vibrationally with different aspects of yourself that again you may be somewhat familiar with but may not necessarily be getting a complete picture of—a whole picture of. And this meditational technique, this analogous technique, can serve you to give you a broader perspective of the way you approach life, the way you go about things, the way you think, the way you behave, what you believe, how you feel.
So use these analogies, use these techniques as a permission slip to give yourself permission to be more of who you are in whatever way, shape, or form seems most attractive to you.
Now letting this sink in, we will once again ask: In what way may we be of service to you with the questions and answers? Or if you wish, in our ancient language, what reflections may we provide? You may begin with your questions if you wish.
Question 1: Soulmates and Maturity
Asker: Hello, and you good day. Speak up and be bold so that all may hear what you have to share. I had two questions. The first one would be if you could explain the concept of maturity. And the second is: is there such thing as soulmates?
Bashar: Let us begin with the second.
Is there such a thing as soulmates? Yes… and no. No in the sense that it isn’t always what you think it is in the way that many of you define that idea. And yes in that sometimes it is. But it is also many other things.
In other words, it is in some circumstances true that different individuals have created for themselves a particular vibrational match in the idea of another soul. Sometimes that is actually even a split off of the same oversoul—doesn’t always have to be, but it can be. But the idea of a soulmate in that context is still, vibrationally speaking, that soul that will for whatever time period best reflect to the other person in the relationship whatever it is that person needs to know about themselves to become the fullest representation of their being that they possibly can. And that person reflects the same back to the other.
Thus, in that context, while it may be possible to set up very specific interactions and relationships in life that are representative of what you classically call a soulmate energy, you can also understand that from the definition we have given you, anyone that you interact with at any given moment is a type of soulmate because they’re the person that needs to be in your life at that moment. They’re the person standing in front of you at that moment, reflecting to you at that moment the things you need to know at that moment to be your fullest self if you use it that way.
So in a sense, a soulmate can even be someone that you may call, quote-unquote, an enemy, because they may be putting you in a position of having to look at certain things within yourself, face certain things, examine certain things within yourself that actually ultimately serves you in the best possible positive way. It’s up to you to use every relationship in a soulmate fashion in order to extract from it all of the energy and information that will actually truly serve you to become your fullest self, and simultaneously reflect back to the other all the things that will allow them also all the opportunities that will allow them also to choose to be their fullest self.
And when you use relationships for that purpose—in that way, as reflections, to allow to support all others in the relationship, to give them the best possible example and the best possible opportunity to become their fullest self without condition of what that may mean—then you are functioning in that relationship to answer your first question in the most mature way possible.
Does that answer both questions for you?
Maturity is the ability to truly see, to truly serve, to truly know what is going on for the best of all concerned, and to trust and allow the synchronicity in your life to unfold in a way that you know is actually serving everyone best, including you. So that there are no needs for the idea of desperation, there are no needs for the idea of neediness, there are no needs for the idea of imposing your ideas on someone else or trying to control anyone. Because you know you’re already self-empowered, and you already know that the greatest power requires the gentlest touch.
And thus then, when you force something on someone in any way, shape, or form, you’re actually saying you don’t believe in the power of what you say you believe in. So the idea of maturity is to have a broader perspective and an understanding of the nature and structure of existence and your relationship to it and within it, and to each other, knowing you are all connected and all reflections—like mirrors for each other—to allow each of you to become who you are as fully as you possibly can. And that will create a world of mature adults.
Does that make some sense to you? Yes, definitely. Does that help? Yes. We thank you. Thank you.
Question 2: Magnesium Stearate and Mitochondrial DNA
Asker: Greetings, Bashar, and you good day. I wanted to ask you about the use of magnesium stearate as a filler in nutraceuticals and what the general and specific pros and cons are of that.
Bashar: In that context, do you believe it is the most organic and natural thing that you can use? No. Well, there’s your answer then, isn’t it? Excellent. Simple.
Now this does not mean that other things cannot sometimes be representative of different people’s belief systems. For different things will work for different people in different ways based on what they believe to be true and what they believe will work. Nevertheless, there is a general idea based on what we talked about earlier about the general collective level of the game—the general rules of the game—that all the things you truly actually need for support have already been provided for you automatically on the game board by the Earth itself.
And when you have a fuller understanding of what all those things are, you will realize that you don’t necessarily need in every circumstance to create something artificial. The idea of extending yourself in that way can be a natural extension. But the idea is also for the purpose of refining your belief systems to the point ultimately where you know that it will take very little of what is already provided for you in a natural way to suffice to support you in all the ways that you need to be supported in your life.
Does that clarify the idea? Yes, it does. Thank you.
Asker: If you could expand and clarify on the understanding of the activation of mitochondrial DNA and how it connects to the sixth generation of hybrid children.
Bashar: The mitochondrial DNA is in some ways paramount to the idea of the continuation of your race—the hybrid race in a way. Because ultimately, your world will become what we have termed the sixth hybrid race. And the mitochondrial DNA is of paramount importance in making sure that there will be sufficient compatibility in your DNA structures into what you call the future for the transformations that need to take place in your species to take place, to allow you to become what might be termed “hyper-human.”
Does that make sense? Yes. Does that answer your question? Yes, it does. Thank you very much. Thank you.
Question 3: The Game You’re Most Attracted To
Asker: Hello, Bashar, and you good day. I want to say how much I love and appreciate you. Oh, well thank you. Our unconditional love to you as well. May we ask you a question? Thank you.
What game are you most strongly attracted to?
Asker: Pinochle. Oh, cards. Yes. Why?
Bashar: Because I’ve spent years playing with my mother. Oh, all right. So it has that association for you. Yes, all right. Any other reason why that particular form of game? It’s one of the few I play. What does it allow you to express that you feel you could not express otherwise?
Of course, you can apply these questions to yourselves whether we ask you this question directly or not. You can be examining this as this conversation unfolds.
Asker: What are the things it allows you to express that you feel other games would not?
Bashar: I can’t answer that. But what it does express—oh yes, you can. I’m sorry. I have fun with my mother, and it’s a communication for us.
Bashar: Communication, yes. So it allows you to be clearer in your communications, more expressive in your communications. Yes, yes. All right.
Do you have an analogy for how to use that ability in the game more in your life? Does it allow you to apply that ability from the game to your life?
Asker: Not as I can see it right now.
Bashar: Do you believe that you can begin to utilize that analogy in your life more by allowing yourself to believe you are in every circumstance in your life playing pinochle with your mother?
Asker: Yes? No? Maybe?
Bashar: Say more about that. Are you willing to give it a shot, as you say? Absolutely. All right. The whole idea we are saying here is that when you understand what game you are most attracted to play, allow yourself to understand that in every interaction in your life, you are playing that game.
So look at what the game does for you when you’re playing the game in the way that is most fun and most expanding, and understand that if you thus then interact in all circumstances in your life from the same energy, from the same perspective, from the same ability, you will achieve much of the same excitement, much of the same expansion, much of the same clarity, much of the same ability in all other areas of your life.
If you see your life as one big giant version of the game you’re most attracted to—make sense? Yes. So everyone is your mother, and you are playing pinochle with every one of them—every version of your mother. You understand? Yes. Now does that help you a little bit? Yes, it does.
Asker: All right. What did you wish to discuss?
Bashar: Actually, the question I had kind of went away because as you were talking about the game of pinochle, I realized that my mother does play strategically, yes, and I just play to play. So I’m looking at the overarching…
Bashar: May I ask you a question? Yes. Is playing to play also a strategy? Yes. All right. Then you play strategically too. Okay. Thank you. You understand? Yes. This is how to look at the game from different perspectives. Yes, yes. Thank you. Does that help you? Yes. All right. Anything else? No, I think I’m clear. Oh, all right. Well, thank you. Thank you.
Bashar: Please understand that when we say “playing strategically,” we do not mean in any way, shape, or form to imply that you are being deceptive in a negative way. It is simply the idea of understanding the true relationship in the things that you have relationships with and maximizing the potential of the relationship in all directions for all people involved. That is playing strategically.
Question 4: Moving to Colorado
Asker: Hello, and you good day. First I want to thank you first for bringing so much grace, beauty, and wisdom into my daughter’s life, her partner, and consequently on mine because she’s introduced me to all of your wonderful teachings. All right. So but they are all your teachings as well. We simply remind you of what you have forgotten. Thank you for that.
My question is: I’m being drawn to possibly move to another state where—Colorado. Oh, all right. Why?
Asker: The environment, the air environment.
Bashar: This is what excites you? It does excite me. All right. So how come you’re not there already?
Asker: Well, I have commitments here.
Bashar: Then I actually—what I’m doing now is going to enable me to move there. Oh, all right. If you say so. When? Within a year and a half. One year and one half. Yes. Would you prefer to move sooner? I would. Then move sooner. Okay.
What are the ideas that you believe are holding you back from acting on your highest joy?
Asker: Well, I have started teaching something at the church that I belong to—Unity—and it is definitely… but they have no counterpart of that in Colorado.
Bashar: Well, I don’t—it’s new. I’ve created it. So you can’t create it in Colorado? I can. But I am then—that’s not an obstacle, is it? No. I’m getting a base here. I’m starting it here. Because it’s new.
Bashar: So taking it to another Unity, taking it around like you do—I mean, really honestly, why not start in Colorado if that’s where you prefer to be? Why are you forming a base in some place you don’t prefer?
Asker: Well, I’ve already began it so I can’t… So what? Well, I have people counting on me. I have obligations, commitments because I’m teaching, so I can’t just step out. It’s about loyalty and dedication.
Bashar: Can you do both? I might. Yeah, that is an option. Yes, absolutely it is. Then if that’s an option, why aren’t you doing both?
Asker: Well, thank you.
Bashar: Did I have to remind you of that? Sometimes we need help. Yes, yes. I know. Thank you so much.
What we are saying is when we talk about the idea of acting on your excitement, act on it to the best of your ability, right? Whatever it is you have set up for yourself, make sure you understand that you may have set up something that you actually can take advantage of but are not.
So examine all the things you actually do have available to you. When you talk about your excitement and act on it to the best of your ability, you’ve just revealed to yourself and to everyone in the room with you and to us that you actually do have the ability to be in Colorado and be where you are by going back and forth doing both simultaneously. So why not do at least that version until you establish enough of a base in Colorado for you to then make whatever decisions you wish to make?
Yes, yes. You don’t have to—we’re not telling. But we’re examining with you whether or not you believe that you are capable of doing that, and whether that might be more representative of your excitement than what you’re choosing to do.
Asker: I am completely and totally absolutely capable. Yes.
Bashar: All right. Then you can start acting on that now.
You do remember the entire formula of acting on your excitement? Yes, yes. Because we know many of you forget the last half of the formula. “Oh yes, act on my excitement—oh yes, yes, yes, yes, yes! How come this didn’t happen? I was acting on my excitement! How come that didn’t come to fruition? I was acting on my excitement! What went wrong?”
What went wrong, so to speak, is that you forgot the second half of the formula of acting on your excitement. Act on your highest excitement every moment that you possibly can, to the best of your ability, taking it as far as you can until you can take it no further, then act on the next most exciting thing, taking it as far as you can to the best of your ability, and you act on your highest excitement every moment that you can with absolutely zero assumption, expectation, or insistence on what the outcome should be.
That’s the formula. Because you never know exactly why you’re being attracted by the thing that excites you. It may not be for the purpose of that particular presentation coming to fruition. It may have just been to get you in a place you need to be so that what actually needs to happen can more easily happen.
So never assume you know where your excitement will lead you, because the physical mind does not have the ability to know how something is actually going to happen. Only the higher mind knows how something is going to happen. The physical mind is only designed to know what is happening right now—what is it experiencing right now. And that’s why it’s so important to stay in the present. Because if you don’t stay in the present, your physical mind is not being given the opportunity to function as it was designed to.
So when you allow the higher mind to show you what needs to manifest to be representative of the state of excitement that you are in, then you will be allowing your life to unfold in the most synchronous way possible. And you will see that the manifestations that come—even if they are not necessarily what you thought they ought to be—will actually serve you as stepping stones toward greater and greater and greater expressions of your joy and excitement.
Negative Spirits and Fear
Asker: Is there such a thing as negative spirits attaching themselves to somebody?
Bashar: No. There is, however, the effect as if there is. There is, however, the experience as if there is. But mechanically speaking, that’s not possible.
What’s actually happening with all those kinds of ideas—things you call negative being attachment or what you call possession or all of those concepts—this is actually what’s mechanically happening: You, for whatever reason, are buying into a belief system that allows your energy frequency to match the energy vibration of beings such as you have described. And thus then, you are creating out of your own energy a mirroring of their energy and a mirroring of the behavior they would have were they in your position.
But you can at any time change your frequency and make yourself invisible to that reality.
Asker: How do I do that?
Bashar: By acting on your highest joy. By having belief systems that you know are beliefs you prefer, instead of holding on to beliefs you don’t prefer. Because you see, you are creating your physical reality experience with what you believe to be true, what you define as most likely, most probable, most true. Whatever belief you buy into will be the reality you experience.
But you can change that if you know you can change your beliefs. You can also examine what beliefs you would prefer to have and know that when you decide that there’s a belief you would prefer as opposed to the other one, that that belief will also be just as true and give you the same kind of experiences that are relevant to that belief that the other belief gave you. Because it’s up to you to decide what beliefs are true for you at any given moment, and that determines the reality you experience.
Asker: Just want to check in to make sure you’re following along. Yes. All right.
So the idea is to ask yourself: If I am having what you would typically call a negative experience, a negative feeling, you understand that that means you’re holding on to a negative belief—a belief that negatively speaking is out of alignment with your true vibration, your preferred self. That’s really, in a sense, all a negative belief is. It’s mechanically segregative, separative, disconnective. That’s all we mean by negative. It’s not a value judgment. It’s a mechanical description of the energy. A positive belief is integrative, expanding in a unifying way. A negative belief is segregated, disconnecting in a discordant way. These are just the mechanical descriptions.
So if you’re having this negative, so-called experience, it just means you’re holding on to a belief that’s out of alignment with your true vibration, which is always going to be a vibration of unconditional love and joy. That’s your natural state.
The idea therefore is when you have these kinds of emotional experiences that you don’t prefer, to ask: What would I have to believe is true about myself in relation to this situation, that situation, or life in general, or this person, or what have you? What would I have to believe is true in order to feel what I’m feeling?
And then you can begin to explore what that definition would have to be. But you have to be willing to explore it, not afraid to explore it. I guarantee you that if you explore those things, none of those negative ideas about yourself will actually ever truly be discovered to be true. They will always be false.
Because you are created in the image of creation. You are unconditionally supported in unconditional existence forever. The very fact that you exist proves that to you because if you exist, All-That-Is and creation must have known you had to exist or it wouldn’t be all that it could be. So you’re important to creation, or you wouldn’t exist because creation doesn’t make mistakes.
Asker: And I do know that, and I have immersed myself in that reality. But it doesn’t—like, I need to be there like 24/7.
Bashar: Well then, be there 24/7.
Asker: I have been. And so in the times when you are not, why do you choose not to be? And don’t say you don’t choose, because you do.
Asker: It’s usually in my dream state, yes. Which is where I am woken up and I perceive there’s somebody there.
Bashar: That’s all right. That happens to a lot of you. It’s a common thing. But again, I understand that you may feel that fears are triggered, but understand the only thing that you’re actually feeling are your own fears—your own negative belief being amplified by being in the presence of other dimensional beings.
See, this is one of the reasons, in a sense, why we simply don’t land en masse on your planet. We exist in a different vibrational frequency that is many times higher than the frequency in which you operate normally. So the idea is that if we were to suddenly present ourselves at full frequency to you, it would actually force all the things that you are forcing down to the surface. You would break all the compartments in your consciousness, and all those ideas, all those fears would come flooding in all at once, and you would go into psychosis.
So we keep our distance until such time as you strengthen yourself and bolster yourself with your own positive beliefs so that you become more equal to us and thus then will not experience such a shock in the presence of a very different frequency.
But from time to time, because of your own agreements—even though you may not remember them—you will come in contact with other beings from other dimensions that you have made agreements to do certain things with. And in those moments, because you’re so used to the idea of the vibration of physical reality and the compartmentalization of consciousness that goes along with it, in those moments all those walls, all those barriers may break down and you may be forced to face some of the fears you may not be ready to integrate.
But it’s all right because if that’s happening to you, it does mean you actually are ready. It’s just that you may not believe you are consciously. If you can get in touch with the idea that you’re consciously ready to face those fears and integrate them within yourself into a higher version of your excitement, then you will begin to welcome those experiences.
And in welcoming those experiences, you will ensure that no matter what anyone else’s intention toward you may be in those or any experiences, you will ensure that the only effect those experiences will have in your life will be a positive one—by defining it as a positive experience for yourself, no matter what anyone else’s intention may be.
Do you understand how this works? You see, this is what we were first describing and why you ask the question if negative spirits can attach themselves to you. Because the idea is that everyone is their own energy, and the only way you can experience anything else is by agreeing to match that frequency. If you no longer agree to match the frequency of fear, then you will no longer experience the effects of fear in your life—even if someone else actually has a negative intention toward you, you will become invisible to that frequency. You’ll become transparent to that frequency by changing your frequency to something that is more representative of the reality you prefer. And therefore, you will no longer feel any effects of that negative nature because you simply will not be agreeing to mirror or match those vibrations.
Even though you may still be capable of neutrally observing them, it doesn’t mean you have to take that energy on if you simply don’t agree that that’s your preferred reality. Does that make sense? Yes. Are you sure? Yes.
Asker: And I have to do a lot of practicing.
Bashar: If you say so. You could change in the blink of an eye. It’s up to you. The fact that you say you have to do a lot of practicing is a belief. Because remember, every change is actually instantaneous and total. But you can create the illusion that change is small and slow. But every single time you change anything, you’re actually changing everything. It’s just that you’re changing everything to look like such a similar version of the last thing that you barely think anything has changed, when in fact the entire universe has changed.
So when you begin to see yourself and change in a different way and know that you are a completely—literally a completely different person every single time you change anything—then you can decide to define who you are as that person. And whatever definition you decide is true for you will be the way you experience your reality.
Even if you can still observe others doing something you don’t prefer, doesn’t mean that they have to have any effect on you whatsoever if you don’t choose to be affected. Make sense? Okay, yes. Does this help you? It does. It validates what I had thought of initially but didn’t quite believe in.
Asker: I guess just not the part of where I—yes. I just—what part?
Bashar: Just… being that just rejecting it ‘cause it’s not about rejection, not rejecting, but knowing and being my highest self.
Bashar: Will allow you to experience anything and everything in your life in the most positive way possible. So why would you care what happens if you know that the only effect it’s going to have on your life is a positive one?
You see, you get to the point where—and I don’t mean this in a negative way—you don’t care what happens. It doesn’t matter what happens because you know that anything that happens and everything that happens will only have a positive effect on your life. Why? Because that’s what you choose. Period. There is no one to contradict you. No one in existence can contradict what you say is true for you.
Thank you. Does that make sense? Yes. That’s the power you have of creation.
Understand—and again I don’t mean this in a negative way, although we understand it sounds a little funny in your language—the greatest gift you have all been given is that life is fundamentally meaningless. It doesn’t have built-in automatic meaning. You were created, you were designed to give meaning to life. So the meaning you give it is the effect you get from it. Without you putting any kind of meaning into it, there will be absolutely no automatic meaning at all. It just remains a neutral prop, a neutral experience, a neutral environment.
But the second—the instant you give it a meaning, consciously or unconsciously, positive or negative—that’s exactly what gets reflected. Because it’s just a mirror. It’s a neutral mirror. So if you’re looking at a mirror and you see your reflection and you look at your face in the mirror and you see that you’re frowning or you’re sad or afraid, you know you don’t go over to the mirror and try to change the reflection in the mirror to a smile. It doesn’t work that way. There’s nothing there—it’s all light bouncing back to you. But you know that if you decide to smile, no matter what, the reflection has no choice but to smile back. It doesn’t have a mind of its own.
