This New Age

The Piscean Age ushered in by Jesus Christ two thousand years ago brought the electrifying message that all men are brothers, equally beloved by their Creator. Because the fish represents the Piscean sign of the zodiac, early Christians used drawings of fishes to signify conversion and identify themselves to each other.

The water bearer is the symbol of the Aquarian Age that our planet is now entering, and the Guides say that water will cover many areas of our present continents after the shift of the earth on its axis, even as other land masses emerge from the seas. They will have a great deal more to say about this dramatic event later in the book.

The earth is in constant evolution, and science has been our reigning king since the Industrial Revolution, bringing untold technological advances to mankind. The next evolution of our planet will be mental, and Walk-ins are said to be returning by the thousands to speed the advent of an improved race, able to cope with the earth changes ahead. If the information given to me is accurate, our ever-expanding network of communications may then become outmoded. Many Walk-ins are able to communicate directly with each other through mental telepathy, while also tuning into the Group Minds of Brotherhoods, and as mankind evolves in the New Age eventually everyone will be able to tap into this vast reservoir of knowledge, creating a dramatically different world society.

For some it will be a rocky road, because if others can read our thoughts it will be impossible to lie or cheat without discovery. No one will be able to keep a secret and no crimes will go unsolved. One’s motivation of necessity must be pure, and although the telepathic age will not come to full fruition in our present lifetime, a thousand years hence a new breed of people may shake their heads in wonder at the dishonesty and concealment of our era.

The Guides say of this enchanted road: “The New Age has begun, but will not be truly recognized as such until the shift of the axis has eradicated some of the evils of the present age. The earth will be swept clean of the baseness and cupidity that now surrounds us, and will see the flowering of a civilization in which the best of man’s instincts are given full range. Those times will see communication by mental rather than vocal or pictorial processes, so that evil is suppressed to a marked degree; for thoughts are things— make no mistake about it. ‘Think no evil’ is as important as ‘Speak no evil,’ or ‘Hear no evil.’ With thought transference from mind to mind, today’s elaborate systems of communication will be less needed. Why have satellites to spy on another’s doings when it is possible to read his mind at a distance and forestall his evil intents? There will be little motivation for greed, since love of others instills a wish to share.

“This New Age is the millennium of which the Bible speaks, when all of mankind are brothers without regard to race, sex, or creed. School systems will be drastically altered, for by tapping directly into the minds of others, one may secure the information he requires, without attending classrooms for twelve or sixteen years. The learning process will be speeded up, because books can be read almost at a glance, and the material contained therein absorbed through mental osmosis. It will be a lively and interesting time, and many of those souls who yearn for perfection will find it easier to achieve and will not thereafter need to return to physical body again and again to confront the same temptations of avarice, envy, and lust.”

Inasmuch as my new Walk-in friend, Laura, has made tantalizing reference to Brotherhoods and Group Minds, I asked the Guides to elaborate. They replied that many Brotherhoods are already in existence, each with a Group Mind into which members can tap, and that the memberships are composed of both discarnates and incarnates, including Walk-ins.

“They form a close-knit group, with from fifty to several hundred incarnates in each Brotherhood,” the Guides said. “These Brotherhoods specialize in different fields, so that while one may be occupied with mathematical calculations or harmonic vibrations, others will be engaged in managerial or counseling services, intelligence gathering, or science. So attuned are they to the universe and to each other that those at a distance with like vibrations are able to tune into their Group Minds through mental telepathy for guidance and solution to problems.”

After a short time in physical body, Walk-ins are apparently made aware of these Brotherhoods, and when they develop their full potential they need pause only momentarily to tune into the particular Group Mind on which they wish to draw for information. One of these tasks for experienced Walk-ins is seeking out and assisting newly arrived Walk-ins until they grasp their newfound personalities. Laura, having so recently discovered her own status, has such a helper, a wise old lady who is a member of a Brotherhood. One day on the telephone I plied this lady with questions, which she readily answered, and after she handed the receiver to Laura, I ask her to explain Group Mind. Laura’s helper heard the query, and replied, “Tell Ruth the responses I have just been giving her came from Group Mind.”

The Guides say of this phenomenon: “Western people are only recently beginning to utilize this vast reservoir of information, because until one’s mind is opened to the potential of harmonic minds working in unison toward a common goal, the door is closed. Many Easterners for thousands of years have known of this glorious fountain of knowledge, and have made use of it. In this case America is far behind many regions of the world, even Russia, and the soviets are moving more rapidly than the United States to tap into the wealth from this source.”

Laura came to visit me and sat in on one of my morning sessions when I asked the Guides for still more clarification of Brotherhoods and Group Mind. After greeting our visitor, they wrote: “As to Group Minds, they are a part of the Brotherhoods, composed both of discarnates and incarnates. They are available to those on like wavelengths and to those who can so fine-tune their vibrations as to tap into them. Some are of the type to which Miriam (Laura’s helper) belongs, eager to free men’s minds from the barnacles of earth living, while others have such specific purposes as solving equations, bringing inventive forces into play, and working with nations and individuals for the common good. There is a federation of Serving Brotherhoods, worldwide in its reach, which is made up of sixty Brotherhoods, symbolically termed the White Feather, the Gold Circle, the Overall Mind, the Spiral, and others too numerous for naming. Each has a Group Mind that is ordinarily available only to those who have taken the pledge of selflessness, love and service. As these Group minds delve into problems presented to them, the consensus feeds out almost as rapidly as the questions mentally feed in. Man’s puny computers are as children’s toys compared with this massive operation, which is always at work with the speed of thought itself. We will tell you more about Group Minds and Brotherhoods at a later time. Laura will become an active member of one of them within the next six months or so, and her alteration of living style will occur at about the same time.”

This would seem to suggest that my new friend Laura has just about completed the tasks she inherited from her predecessor in that body, and is ready to go forward to her own projects.

Another sign of the New Age now dawning is the back-to-the-earth movement. A new breed of young people is determined that rather than raping Planet Earth, we should be working in harmony with its energies. Many people are returning to natural things, using herbal remedies rather than chemical products, and practicing holistic medicine. They insist on food that is grown without harmful pesticides, talk to their plants, sing to their gardens, and employ only natural fertilizers. They through the health-food stores, bake their own bread, give birth to babies at home without an anesthetic, and trek to meditation centers and communes in the United States, Europe, India, and elsewhere throughout the world to deal with universal energies.

Walk-ins are quietly encouraging this return to self-reliance, suggesting that instead of pressuring government to provide ever more services, we should rely more on ourselves and each other, as our rugged forefathers did. The emphasis is on individual effort, rather than mass society, and freedom of choice. Many Walk-ins now occupy the bodies of the so-called war babies of the 1940s and 1950s who have reached adulthood and are crowding today’s workforce. These Walk-ins realize that because the population explosion has now abated, there will be insufficient workers to support the social security system as now constituted, when they reach retirement age. Thus they are suggesting that young people learn to do it yourself skills that can be bartered with each other, since they will probably be unable to live on social security payments. California’s proposition 13, which has sparked similar drives throughout the country, is a cry for fewer Big Brother services and less waste, saying in effect, “Let’s do it ourselves. Let’s clean up our welfare rolls. Let’s go back to
